What to Farm During the 2x Drops Event (June 21–23)

Get ready, Hyperlinkers! From June 21 at 04:00 AM to June 23 at 03:59 AM (SVT), Etheria: Restart is launching a 2x Drops Event across Investigation, Threshold, and GP Outpost modes. Whether you’re a beginner aiming to level up fast or a veteran looking to perfect your gear, this guide will help you make the most of this limited-time event.

Event Overview: What’s Getting Doubled?

During this event, rewards will be doubled in the following modes:

  • Investigation: Double EXP, Shadowprints, Crystals, and Summons
  • Threshold: Double Module drops (your main gear)
  • GP Outpost: Double Prowess materials (Anima Imprints and more)

Note: Shells are NOT part of the 2x bonus, so Grim Pursuit remains unchanged.

Preparation Tips Before the Event

Before the event begins, here’s what you should do:

  • Save your stamina items: Stockpile stamina pills and mental stabilizers.
  • Refresh with gems if needed: Use your Hydra Coins now to unlock higher-stage farming zones.
  • Push your progression: The higher the stage, the better the double drops will be. Farm the last unlocked stages you can clear efficiently.

Farming Priorities: What Should You Actually Grind?

GP Outpost: The Must-Farm Mode for All Players

If you’re wondering where to begin, the answer is clear—GP Outpost. This mode is critical because it enables Prowess upgrades, which drastically improve your characters beyond just leveling them. Each skill has multiple nodes that grant not only enhancements to the skill itself but also flat stat boosts in HP, ATK, DEF, and SPD.

Even without investing rare Lattice materials, you can unlock a majority of these boosts using element-specific Anima Imprints. This makes GP Outpost the most efficient source of long-term power scaling for any character.

New players, in particular, should prioritize getting each core unit’s Prowess up to at least level 2. The stat boosts are substantial and directly affect your performance across all content—whether PVE or PVP.

Threshold: Ideal for Players with Mature Builds

Threshold becomes highly attractive during the 2x event, but only if your account is already well-developed. This mode drops Modules, which are Etheria’s gear system and play a major role in fine-tuning your characters’ performance.

However, there’s a catch: meaningful gains only start at Hell III difficulty or higher, where you can farm three Maxtrix Level Modules. These offer the best stats and potential sub-stat combinations. Anything lower, such as Hell I or II, often yields two matrix level Modules, which you’ll quickly outgrow.

Threshold farming is best reserved for players who’ve already maxed out key Prowess upgrades and are now bottlenecked by gear quality. If that’s you, then it’s time to identify which Threshold boss suits your character setup best—often, DokiDoki is the go-to because of her Speed-focused Swiftraid set.

Investigation: Use Selectively, Not Broadly

Although Investigation sees doubled EXP and rare item drops during the event, it remains the lowest priority for most players. Leveling up characters does increase stats, but only slightly. Most stat gains in Etheria come from Prowess, Modules, and Shells—not raw levels.

That said, there are specific situations where farming Investigation is worthwhile. For example, if you’re just a few levels away from hitting the max cap before ascending a character, this is a good chance to gather the last bits of EXP. Likewise, the Shadowprints obtained here are necessary for ascensions, so targeting specific rarities during the event can be helpful.

Just don’t get baited by the potential for Crystal and Summon drops—they’re extremely rare and shouldn’t drive your farming decisions.
